And we also should have the choice as to whether or not we want to take the inevitable vaccine that is being funded by depopulation advocate Bill Gates. It will be "mandatory" even though that is against the constitution, and our freedom. My body my choice right dems?

People will get mad at Dr. Fauci cause he “is a deep state libtard”, but a shite ton of studies will be needed to see if it works
When the survival rate of something is already 99%, it’s hard to tell if medicine “works”, because 99% of people survive without anything
That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be using the meds, but it will take a while before we really know what works and what doesn’t

If CNN says something, believe the opposite.

Frick the person who downvoted my post. I would gladly check knuckles at any Sonic to the vagina that downvoted a post about my mom who has Corona and is trying not to become a statistic.

I am assuming your mom is in her 60s
That means she already has a 98.5% chance of survival
So is the medicine working, or is she just surviving Becuase 98.5% of people do without meds

I'm starting to think the same about a lot of OT posters. It is just sad to see people whose opinion on everything is determined by how it might affect their "side." And it seems a lot of people on both sides fall into that trap.

One of my salesmen is on quarantine because his wife tested positive. She’s taking it and is no longer showing symptoms after the 2nd day of taking it. And she was sick as a dog before taking it

Except that's not what's going on. It's not 99%. The death rate of ~1.4% is not weighed against resolved cases...meaning we don't know whether they're going to die yet or be cleared.
As of yesterday, 27% of people who had a clear result one way or another were dead. And 73% were recovered.
The 1.4% is just dividing deaths by all confirmed cases, many of whom just haven't died yet. It's meaningless.
We know it works. We don't know how well it works for extremely dire cases, just yet. That's about it. And even with that, it's better than nothing.

Don't understand why Dems are routing for the virus and want to continue to be shut down for the rest of time. If something potentially could save your life, you should have the right to try.

Nope. It was just a way for Trump to get through a few days of the news cycle. He needed a boost, so he grabbed something he could sell to his base. Since they love conspiracy theories and get their expertise from YouTube videos, they bought it hook, line, and sinker.
He’ll have some new bullshite to feed them when the Hydrochloroquine con runs its course.

So, do you think the ultimate rate will end up being closer to 27% or 1.4%?

Incorrect. That's what I thought until yesterday too. See link. In the US, there are still ~423k people of ~465k confirmed cases total who have neither died or been cleared of virus. If you look at the "Recovered" (25k) and "Deaths" (16k) column...those remaining 423k are going to end up in one of them, eventually. And the death one is nowhere near 1.5%.
However, the French study with a 99.3% success rate was referring to end results, aka either recovered or dead. It works.
Worldwide numbers by country.

Yep. Trump and his staff are on the cusp of curing cancer and the whole scientific world is balling.

Worldwide? I think it'll be closer to 1.4%...*because* of the HCQ+azithromycin treatment.
But aside from that, I'd ballpark it at maybe 10%...because some of the early deaths are just people waiting too long and it progressing too far before getting treated, some is the more vulnerable dying first, some is just that there are plenty of unresolved cases because it's early and we have 1st world healthcare, so they haven't fallen into the recovered pot yet.
But apparently we're gonna have plenty of drugs, so I'd expect ours to be under 1% eventually...mainly the ancient, obese, or those whose heart conditions prevent them from getting the treatment.

I know 2 people that tested positive and were on it. They are both fine now so I say yes.
