re: Is the earth flat?

quote:No I didn't. You disputed they rotated on a yearly. You were clear about that. We can go back and check. I was right and you were wrong.
But you disputed they rotate on a daily basis.
But I don't want to be right on everything. I want you to apply this criticality to the official narrative instead of me and discover it yourself.

Science is not a set of beliefs. That's not science. Science has absolutely no issue with being challenged. Because science is only what can be proven. There is absolutely no reason to have antagonism toward someone questioning the science, because science is impartial and can be shown easily. The fact they say it's not ok to go against science is a huge red flag.
Believing something you can't prove because "science" is the religion of scientism. It's not science
There should be absolutely no issue with flat earth theory and it should be allowed and discussed and tested. There should be absolutely no reason to belittle scientific inquiry. Instead they have to demean them and enforce dogma, because flat earthers can in fact prove them wrong.

I didn't dispute they didn't appear to shift around Polaris over a year. I explained in depth how they rotate around Polaris every single day plus a little extra.
You clearly stated, "The stars rotate slowly over a year around Polaris". This is incorrect they rotate around Polaris once every sidereal day not once a year.

No they rotate over a year also.

I bet it would be fascinating to learn some of the other stuff you believe that most people view as conspiracy theories. Care to share?

This is the most entertaining thread of all time.
But I wish a flat earther like yourself would explain a sunrise or sunset. Because the sun doesn't just get smaller and fade away ..it remains the same size and sets and rises above the horizon.
That would be impossible on a flat earth.

Technically no they don't. They just happen to rotate roughly 361 degrees every day. They do not rotate slowly over a year (as you stated) they rotate 366 times that fast. At the time of your original post, you simply did not understand this and a combination of my posts and Google has elucidated you and you are trying to obfuscate that.

How is that a strawman..lol
You can't answer.. admit it!

Please explain how the sun sets on a flat earth

So you're saying the zodiac is wrong? This picture is wrong?
Yes or no? Do the stars change and rotate over seasons?

Please explain how the sun sets on a flat earth
Now explain how I can see 50 miles on a flat plane when it should be curved 1667 feet downward

Why is the sun dropping below the horizon right now?
Posted on 4/11/22 at 7:06 pm to Jake88
Don't you mean why is the earth spinning away from it?
Think of your own WHY questions.
Ummm the big bang and a bunch of stuff made it that way locked in place somehow

Lol you need to be spoonfed by religious leaders.
This is exactly what I expected your response to be, since you couldn't come up with any real reason why astronomers and scientists would all agree to "lie" to us over hundreds of years.
quote:
Explain how the shadow of earth creates a shadow on the moon if both are above the horizon. There have been lunar eclipses during the day.
This makes no fricking sense. The sun is on the other side of the spherical earth, thus creating a shadow on the moon. How would that work if the earth were flat? What about solar eclipses? I've literally seen both with my own eyes, and neither could happen with a flat earth.

Literally guys just apply your critical questions to the narrative instead of me. It will fall apart faster than I have.

quote:no it's not on the other side. I just told you there have been eclipses during the day. But even if it was the earth shadow, the earth is bigger than the moon, and the sun is far away, the shadow would encompass the entire moon and appear circular on the circular moon no matter what
The sun is on the other side of the spherical earth, thus creating a shadow on the moon. How would that work if the earth were flat?
I'm sorry you guys can't conceptualize things
You can literally take a disc or a paper towel roll and make a circular shadow on a coin
