I went back to watch the Tedx video on the perils of being an NPO and I don't think she realizes that that video doesn't actually support the formation of LLCs over NPOs.
What he actually says is that we need to change how we view NPOs and allow them to spend money on advertising and resources like the for profit sector does so that they can increase that scale of their impact.
I'm not sure he'd agree with a LLC forming that can act unilaterally and really has no mechanism for accepting and reporting donations.
