Yes.

I mean it isn't technology in and of itself. Rather, it's humans and our self-indulgent, feedback-loop driven, brain-chemical addled, narcissistic nature that has been turbocharged by our own creations and the exponential quality of tech advancement.

Basically our fricked up nature is limitless and tech is there to keep up and speed up the process.

In other words, this Earth is f'ed.

Eta: I've started leaving my phone at home more. It's liberating. We went out last night and didn't see anyone on phones on patio. So that's good.

Absolutely. Teenagers are borderline retarded because of smart phones.

If cell phones disappeared today, my life would be CONSIDERABLY better off.
