So if you want no information about the vehicle...why are you on the lot in the first place?

Another car dealership experience:

I dropped off a buddy at the Land Rover dealership in Metairie who was picking a new LR4. I was driving a new tahoe LTZ I bought for the wife. So I get out of my car and start looking around. The sales guy blatenly ignored me. I guess even Land Rover/Range Rover salesmen have standards.

i drove my shitty high school p/u that I still have to buy my last 2 new trucks. nobody wanted to talk to me which is great. just walk inside and ask to speak to sales manager. I knew more about the trucks I was buying than any dumb salesman

Here the car salesmen do not work on commission. The employees are paid a base and the dealerships pool the commission.

That seems like a decent model for us, the consumer, but the bottom feeders are getting over until they get canned!

We didn't get out of the car, we rolled the windows down and cruised around. There was literally a salesman chasing after us.

I can believe this as I've had it happen to me.

And if you didn't have an Apt you would get pissed off standing beside a car because no one would come help you...

The only help I need from the salesman is to go give my offer to the sales manager.

I didn't even test drive the last 4 trucks I bought.

How do car salesmen decide who gets to go talk to the potential victim?

It's called an "ups" system. Usually sequential order for a team. Just take turns using a predetermined sequence.

Almost made the same thread with bartending and tat sleeves.

I can see pounding cans in your lazy boy trashy but nothing wrong with a beer or 2. I'm not the type to shield kids if I had one though.
