These two are comedy gods.
I guess Eddie Murphy isn't a political comedian, but frick it.. He deserves to be mentioned with Pryor & Carlin

Carlin is the best at the craft. But if he were here, he would dress down Trump as much as he would make fun of Biden. It would be hilarious to some but not everyone. Many here would be pissed and honestly, I can't get why (hypothetically).

What are your favorite Biden jokes told by late night comedians?

You don't watch them so no point in going down that rabbit hole. Any good Levin or Alex Jones zingers I need to know?

Oh, Robin Williams was pretty great at addressing politics and making it hilarious without being obtuse.

I can't stand her. But what I really can't stand is the fact that she and John Oliver even have jobs in this country commenting on American politics.
The rest of the Western world absorbs anything and everything about our culture. But we don't have any Americans hosting political commentary shows in Canada, The UK, South Africa, or Australia. Anyone know why?
Because it's none of our damn business. It's not John Oliver, Samantha Bee, or Trevor Noah's place to chime in on our politics either.

That's the great thing about the truly great, to me. Observation comedy is funny because it's going to be an epiphany to some and to others, it's the delivery of the joke they identify with. Politics is really low hanging fruit for writers and comedians. Heck, if they can pull off an audience split groan to laugh ratio, they've really hit the big time.

I don't know how you guys have left out Seth Meyers in this thread. He is the worst. I don't think he even tries to be funny or talented.
I think we're at a point where comedy is dead, at least from a mainstream perspective.
And that really sucks. There was a time when you could go to the movie theatre and there would always be a great comedy playing. Or you could turn on the TV any night and there would be a great sitcom, followed by a fun lighthearted late night show or sketch comedy. And stand up was consistently great too. If you needed a laugh, there were plenty of options.
And what these modern """comedians""" don't understand is that comedy is a great unifying force of social cohesion. Nobody cared what side of the tracks Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor came from because they were cool and funny. Nobody cared that America's favorite TV family, the Huxtables, were black - because they were cute and funny. Nobody cared that George Carlin and Bill Hicks didn't vote the way they did because they were witty. Nobody cared that Mel Brooks and half the writers in Hollywood went to synagogue, not church on weekends.
Back then it was understood that it "takes all kinds" to make an audience, but it takes a special talent to make them all laugh. Now they just ignore all traditional humor and talent and just attack anyone who doesn't think the way they want them to think and hope they develop enough of an echo chamber to stay afloat. And at this point they're all fighting over the same pathetic, miserable 10% of the population that would sit at home and stare at a dead cat if you hung a sign on it telling them what they want to hear.

If it isn’t Trevor Noah, it’s her.

Michael Savage is probably the funniest media conservative. I heard him do a routine you might call "Never Trust Anyone Named Bernie" once. The gist of it was that there have been probably 5-6 front page scandals perpetrated by men named Bernie in his lifetime. He does a pretty good Bernie Sanders impression somewhere in there.
