It exists but much less than it used to be. It seems worse now than in the 70’s but it is still a very small percentage

I believe there are few people that simply hate someone because of their skin color. Also, it's a complex issue. If I expect certain behavior's from a particular race due to experience... is that racist?

In their opinion the fact that black people are in prison at a higher rate has nothing to do with the propensity to commit crime, it has everything to do with "systematic racism" caused by whitey.

Racism and prejudice are two separate things.
For example the statement "I only date black women" or "Asians score higher on standardized math tests" are prima facia statements of racism but there is nothing inherently wrong about them if they are based in incontrovertible fact or genuine personal preferences of individual autonomy.
Prejudice on the other hand is forming ignorant assumptions and applying them to the whole without reason.

My most recent experience last week was walking into a restaurant. As soon as I opened the door there were 3 late teen aged AA’s coming out. I held the door open so they could exit and they all just gave me a “mean mug” and looked away. Not a single thank you to be had. Felt very racial
