not true
if you find a good breeding partner, marriage is highly beneficial as producing higher quality progeny as well as having a higher chance of raising that progeny to successfully develop into being high enough value to continue to carry on your genes. also it drastically increases the assurance that any progeny is, in fact, your's
and that's only the evolutionary reasons

Like everything else progressive I get worked up over it a few times a year and forget about it the rest.

i think that's one of the most absurd, "you have got to be shitting me" privileges i've come across
the issue is bad choices. it's right in their faces. and instead they try to criticize and shame the good decision makers

I just read some excerpts of your post to my wife, a social worker mind you, and her jaw was on the floor.

its privilege because other have not been taught to make the good decisions due to being raised in poor households and/or less privileged upbringing...
I think

yeah they bring it back to sort of a cultural argument
they admit one culture teaches a way to live/think/act that is beneficial
they admit the culture that ignores this is detrimental
yet, through cultural relativism, we're not supposed to say one culture is better
and, through progressive identity politics, we're supposed to shame the better culture as being "privileged"
reality has left the building

You are definitely single

I think men can stay single and happy longer than women due to biological factors.

I'm not and I 100% agree with him

You ever listen or read Sam Harris? I listen to his podcast occasionally. I'm currently on The End of Faith Sessions 1 and he gets into this with religion.

I know several women my age that have no desire to have children. They are single and while they would love to marry one day, they seem to be pretty content with their lives. They all have successful jobs that allow them to live the lifestyles they wish.

I'm sure there are many exceptions to what I said, but on the whole I believe it would hold true. I could be flat wrong though.
