Probably not, which is why marriage rates are at a new low in this country. They're onto us!

I know what you mean though. If you are a woman that desires children...yes....you cannot stay single and happy as long as a man can.

keep on pushing the feminist myth devaluing women settling down in order to display their independence by being sexually promiscuous and you'll continue to see the "hookup culture" that TRULY devalues women. men evolved to have to pay a steep price for steady sex and quality breeding partners and if that cost is lowered, we gain a major advantage.

I loved this quote so much I think I'm going to copy and paste it for future discussions.

which is almost all women unless they have a severe biological defect

and i know you're older and trying to conceive, so don't take me saying that the wrong way

evolution doesn't just stop biology b/c we lie to ourselves

So a man can decide he doesn't want kids and that is ok.

But a woman makes the same choice and she has a "biological defect"?

men want to have sex

having more sex increases the odds of having babies

historically, men didn't even stick around to see if they had kids

we evolved differently and have different reproductive goals

women know 100% if they have babies

Yes, it is truly an anomaly for a woman to not want to have children. They are either lying to themselves or have totally subjugated (there's that word again (themselves into modern feminism that runs counter to eons of biological evolution.

I once dated a gal who didn't want kids. She was selfish and wound up marrying a guy with kids from his former marriage. Funny thing is, 1.) suddenly she became a step mom, and 2.) she didn't have a college degree or any significant "independent career" to speak of which would play into the feminist agenda.

I don't know what her end game was/is. I think she just wanted to marry and be taken care of, without having to raise children. She lacked the type of selflessness it takes to raise children, and she knew it. That was the ultimate turn off for me.

I fear that today's society devalues the sacrifice of self necessary for family life in favor of the empty promises of living only for yourself, goals, and dreams.

that's why as societies advance, they reproduce at lower rates

it's not distributed evenly, either. the irony is the best suited for children have fewer

I know, sounded funny when I re read it

But said ex has changed jobs umpteen times over the last 20 years......always trying to finally "get something going", but she can't stick with anything. And if she hadn't married a guy to support her, she wouldn't have much. Not saying she would have made a good mother either. It's sad really.

I did

Though, I admit, they are exceedingly rare. Feminists have downplayed the importance of domestic skills like sewing, cleaning, cooking, ect to such a degree that the vast majority of young women, especially college-aged women, have none of these skills.

Feminists tell women to be impowered, that they don't need to share any interests or hobbies with men. That men only want to value them for their sexuality, that they don't need to dress to impress men, that they shouldn't have to work in any way for men at all.

All this does is create a culture of women with no skills and really bringing nothing to the table but their looks, while even downplaying those. Then, those same women wonder why men don't value them, either choosing more attractive "high maintenance" girls or choosing them and then discarding them quickly in favor of new conquests and only settling down with more "wife material" women, while not understanding what makes those women "wife material" and them expendable.

The reason is simple: bring something more to the table if one expects to keep a seat at it. Men aren't completely dumb. They're going to pick the best possible mate they can get, so if one wants to be chosen, why not arm one's self with the best possible attributes? Not every woman can have a perfect body or a movie star face, but every woman can learn how to cook, make and repair things, and keep a home. Not every woman can f&$k like a porn star, but they can educate themselves on relevent topics, learn interesting hobbies, and learn how to tell jokes to make themselves more interesting.

One cannot complain about a culture where men only value women for sex without recognizing that one must provide more value than just sex to be valued for anything else.
