Yikes. 15 years of that crap when you could have had LASIK. Best thing I ever did.

It depends. If you are -10 the success rate declines. The worse your vision is the less likelihood the surgery works. The people with the best results have mild to moderate nearsightedness.
It also doesn't work as well as you age and need readers. But most people report satisfaction with the surgery. As with escorts your mileage may vary.

I am at about -1.75, been thinking about doing it for years, even went through consultation process. Basically chickened out because eyes aren’t that bad, can get by without corrective lenses but rarely do anymore.
Anyone with experience with similar eyesight? Mid 30s

I had LASIK when I was around the same age as you are now. Going on 15 years now.
It was no big deal and I cannot remember life with glasses/contacts anymore (all a bad dream!)
It is glorious to see in the shower and see the alarm clock on the nightstand without reaching for my glasses.
Get it done young man!

Monthly’s. Never sleep in them. Change them probably every 3 weeks or so once they start feeling like they need to be changed
I could never sleep in monthly’s, I couldn’t even nap in them. But, I could make them last 5-6 weeks, sometimes longer certain times of the year. I work in what can be a dusty environment sometimes (farm), and it got horrible over the course of about a year. It got to where I couldn’t go a month.
Now, I have no issues from daily’s. I can wear them about 3 days until they start bothering me.

Had it done 20 years ago and never had a minutes problem with it. The procedure was pain free.

Very worth it! I had it done several years ago.

I have a friend who wants Lasik and penile enhancement but since both are elective he has to come out of pocket. He can only afford one surgery. Anyone on here had both? If so which surgery caused the most improvement to the respective organ?
I have perfect vision.

I recall some studies indicating 1 in 3 who have the surgery have some type of issue post surgery. As such, you should do your due diligence. While many patients are satisfied early on, issues begin to arise after 6 mos or so and they can be debilitating. The FDA Opthalmic Chief who initially approved LASIK in 1998 is now against the procedure and believes it is not safe or effective, take that for what it’s worth.
My sibling had the procedure and still wears glasses because of issues. A coworker of mine had it done and still wears glasses and has dry eye issues post surgery. I’ve met many people that it didn’t seem to help so I decided it against myself. Best of luck!

Had it done 15 years ago. The results just started to “wear off” within the last year, but it’s been worth every penny.
