Guys drinking wine is weird, unless it's a really formal occasion like a Christening or something to do with Church or a $300 restaurant.
It's soft and unmanly. If there's nothing else going and they gulp it it's okay, but otherwise it's gross to see guys acting soft like that.
Port is different. I think it's okay for the girl to order wine and the guy to order port, but at a bar, like with music and stuff? No way.

Wine tastes good and can be strong. I can't think of any reason to be ashamed of drinking wine. No reason to be ashamed drinking it unless you're an insecure pussy.
