I doubt he's mad. It probably has more to do with you sounding like a wannabe tough guy. "Solve it my way" is probably more like "go inside and cry about it" in reality.

Putting your poop bag on my yard clippings would piss me off more than using my trash can. Also, if you have non-plant material in the pile, it won't be picked up at the same time. I don't want your shite sitting in my yard.

I simply ask that you keep your dog and your dog's shite off my property. When you don't do that, you are the antagonist. You're the one starting trouble. When you take your problems and ask others to solve them, don't get mad when they solve them. That is all.

I don't let my kids play in other peoples yard unless they have permission from the land owners. It's not that hard to teach a kid where and where they cannot play.

The initial point of this thread centered around people putting bags of dog shite in other people's trash cans, not allowing a dog to shite on another person's lawn. Two completely different things, and the latter is unacceptable unless you live in a rural area where dogs roam free all day.
