Absolutely not! A responsible dog owner should dispose of their pet's feces in their OWN garbage can. Do you think your neighbor would want your dog's poop smelling up their garbage can? That can is your neighbor's property, not yours, even if it is at the street. Those who think different are just inconsiderate.

Well personally, I store my garbage can in the garage, and I don't want it smelling like dog shite. Dog shite smells exponentially worse than any trash that I have ever put in my garbage can. When I go to throw a trashbag full of paper, plastics, beer cans, and other normal trash into my garbage can in the garage, I don't want to get a whiff of fricking dog shite.
In fact, I have a roommate that rents a room from me and he has a dog. I told him he could not throw his bagged dog shite in my garbage can, so he bought his own dog shite garbage can that I allow him to leave behind the house.

Have em go before you walk em, and if you can't, try and find a large dumpster, not a personal can, if possible. I try hard not to throw it in others cans, but I can't say that I have never done it.

Only ever if its the day/evening before trash pikcup comes the next morning. I would never put it in someones trash where it has to sit for a week.
