Uhh nope
Care to elaborate? What are some great organizations that boot employees immediately when they resign and don't let them get paid for two weeks after they give notice?

I gave a six week notice once, because I am a thoughtful and respectable person. My new job wanted me immediately, but I talked them into letting me get six more weeks at my current job for proper handoffs, and they respected that. And I kinda worked part-time in the meantime so that soothed them.
The reason I gave 6 weeks notice is because I knew for a fact it would take them at least 3 weeks to interview and hire, and would need another 3 weeks of shadowing, because it was a very specific obscure type of job role.
Once the 6 weeks passed, they had not interviewed a single person, nobody was hired, there was no shadowing, so I rightly assumed the department would fall apart.
It did.
About two months later, my former boss's boss's boss calls my cell phone and offers me double my previous pay and a leap-frog promotion and I'd be my former boss's boss. Well, with a pregnant wife I took it.
Life has been good ever since.
The six week notice, I think, made a difference. It showed that I actually gave a shite.
But I also completely understand the sentiment of quitting without notice because they will quit you without notice too.
I think every situation is different. And you are playing Texas Holdem a little bit in each step of the way.
I do love the Lord. Hashtag blessed.

I didn’t think that was the original question?
Unless you are Going to a competitor etc I see no reason to letting an employee go because of network security concerns? And why would it be a red flag ?
Maybe I’m too trusting

Ah gotcha. Did you take that job? That does not sound ideal.
Yeah. It essentially tripled my pay and then broke me mentally.
