It's a sacrament, it's disrespectful to the man, and no matter what she may tell you there are two stories. I wont allow myself to be part of this activity, not a saint or moralist, but just one of those places you don't go and expect a good outcome to result.

adultery doesn't mean jack in family court
Yes it does. I used it to avoid paying spousal support and to get the exact custody arrangements I wanted with my son. She kicked and screamed the whole way, and all I had to do was point at the other man's baby in her belly during the hearing.

all I have to go on is my experience, of shelling out in the low seven figures of $, assets, pension and legal fees, having adulterous relationships brought up to the court meant nothing, and after awhile, he even said that he didn't want to hear anymore about it
ETA: I shouldn't say all I have to go on, as I've done pretty extensive research on the subject, it has no bearing in the courtroom in at least FL, AL, and TX

and I'm wrong because you believe it's wrong?
quote:Apparently not.
I'm actually pretty well educated on family law,
quote:Sure it is, but isn't kinda dumb to not realize that most people here are from here and your opinion from experiences in Florida or Alabama may not apply? Especially when you state your opinion with such certainty and even arrogance: "adultery doesn't mean jack in family court...nope, has no bearing at all, people watch too much TV."
although I don't currently live in LA, I grew up there, graduated from LSU, as did my wife, so it's probably OK for me to post here

Is the married dude OK with it?
If not, yes. Very messed up.
If not, yes. Very messed up.

Like nearly every question in life, it depends.

typically, yes. BUT, there are some a-hole husbands who have mistreated their wives. Just because you are married doesn't absolve you from your responsibilities to hold what is sacred.

Totally depends on circumstances. Need more facts to answer.
