Yes, there's more out there that the Fox watching crowd have no idea about.

Yep. If you take a step back and look objectively at modern society as it is currently structured it is pretty retarded and poorly "designed."

Yet you can drop out at will, find a commune and live with tha basics.

But you're addicted to this rat race and creature comforts, so you'll keep grinding.

I hear people decry the system constantly, yet none do anything to change their situation.

Then if they choose to live the way they do now like the Amish or something cool whatever but it seems cruel not to at least give them acccess to modern medicines and what not

It's ridiculous to make contact illegal, but as an individual I don't know why we think we should have to "improve" everyone's life. Just let them be. Most probably aren't fit for modern lif.

I was about to say the same thing. It’s funny seeing all these people talk about how great these peoples lives are that get to die from the common Cold while as someone else pointed out their population drops below 100 and will probably soon be extinct, all while those who talk about them sit behind their 1,000$ + monitor, while they wear expensive clothes and go home to a 60 inch flat screen with 5 streaming services. If it’s so great why aren’t people jumping at the chance to go live in the damn jungle?

Sure. You can live within a system and still point out it flaws. They aren't mutually exclusive.

I never stated I am ready to run off into the woods ala the Unabomber or the folks on Life Below Zero.

I am just aware enough to know there is a lot of dumb shite that we put up with in the name of "progress" and "civilization."

Bngo. No One is forced to participate in any "system" but they'd rather complain about it than actually do anything they advocate.

It's so damn tiresome. .

You could use a bit of your own advice, no?

It's so damn tiresome, but no one is forcing you to participate online in any of these discussions complaining about the status quo, and yet you still do.

I do. I love my life the way I think life should be lived.

But keep whining, you're good at it.

What are the names/locations of some of these tribes? I would love to read a little about them. I find it fascinating.

Popular propaganda.

I think they should have choices. But their chances of contentment are probably higher in the jungle than in the slums of large S. American cities.

Most are in the Amazon Basin and New Guinea. I doubt many are still "uncontacted" though. This wasn't the case until the 40s and 50s though?
