Costco is slinging gas but the line is unbelievably long. All the way back behind the store by the studio entrance.

EPA is dragging their feet approving fuel waivers requested by Louisiana and Mississippi that would allow Winter gasoline sales to start two weeks early. Two weeks. That would instantly increase supply. It was requested on either Friday or Saturday. The pinhead lawyers at EPA haven’t seen any rooftop rescues on CNN, so they are dismissing the severity of Ida.

Btw, for the past 4 years, these waivers were granted same day as requested. Now, we go back to the handwringing days of Barry’s EPA.

Lowe’s got me for $27.95. Hopefully there will be spots to fill it.

11 of 14 refineries are still down. Last I heard was Exxon and Placid were down but waiting on nitrogen. Shouldn’t be long.

I drove past a few places I know had power but were not open and had plastic over the handles. Seems to me that if the government actually wanted to serve a purpose in times like these, they’d have someone facilitating this by marking those stations with power but no gas, and working on getting them up and running.

The two air separation plants that supply Placid and Exxon with nitrogen both lost their main vaporizers. Status unknown. Not hearing they will be back immediately

Easy Mile in Port Allen just got a gas truck in and their tanks are full — only one pump but it’s something.

Gas station near Tanger Mall in Gonzales has gas but the fricking cops are using it for their own supply. Blocked entrance ways.

The Fuel Stop on Staring near Perkins has gas but a long arse line. I got some at the Shell on Nicholson near Tigerland about 15 minutes ago with little wait.
