Just do it. If she is a normal person, which odds are... she is, she shouldn't have a problem at all.. If she is a loon and creates some "drama" around it then laugh it off and move on.

Does she have your number? She should be calling or FBing you to let her know where she works now.

Why are you trying to be the Dr. Phil of this board???????

If all you want is haircut, she will welcome.

Go for it. She'll be happy you found her and want to continue giving her business.
I've gone through a similar situation with my current barber.

I know I'm late to this but I don't think its creepy at all.
I actually just had a similar situation but my girl added me on Linkedin of all places so I messaged her there to find out where she went.

Not really. IF that is the only reason you are contacting her. I am sure you would like the business if she is still cutting hair. Just don't be creepy with the message.
Just be like:
Hey _________, this is __________. You have cut my hair for over a year and I just just found out you no longer work at ____________. Before going to you, it took me awhile to find someone who cuts my hair exactly the way I like it so I just want to see if you are cutting hair somewhere else? If not, is there any chance you can refer me to someone who might be able to cut it the way you did?
Thanks

They are often prohibited from doing so by their previous employer.

Not creepy at all. She hopes for it.
This is often what I tell myself
