We bought my wife’s car 4 years ago today, got a great deal on it… 10k off sticker.
Still has two years on the warranty.

I’m waiting to see how the market turns out but I don’t need a vehicle…..just want one
Same, don't need a newer truck just want one and have the cash in hand so I can afford to be patient

That’s a good position to be in.. im kinda similar, in that im tired of putting miles on my personal (paid off) vehicle , and want to buy a work vehicle so that i can park my personal and only use it for road trips and similar, and hope to keep it for the rest of my life since it’s paid for .. BUT dont tell any dealer you will be paying cash.. there was a thread on this here last week.. always negotiate the price THEN drop the cash bomb, or finance (without an early payoff penalty) then pay if off after one month.. these scumbag dealers today live off of financing deals .
