Please qualify "quality".
Thanks.
ETA... I think a marriage that just last a few months is more trashy. But I wouldn't use the term trashy. I would said they showed poor judgment. I'm not even sure that a marriage that lasts for 25 years and dissolves, is a failure. But I won't quibble. Because that's not quality.

Posters aren’t going to like this thread because they’re low class divorced people.

People that stay in bad marriages for appearances are trashier.
Do you get a trashy hall pass for staying in a bad marriage because of young kids?

I give and I give to you people. I bear my soul. And yet all I get is hatred in return. I haven’t been this disillusioned with humanity since those dirty bunch of bastards at LSU made me have sex with that goat in the attic.

Also, one bares one's soul, not bears.,. Stupid frick.
No offense.
I think that when you started begging for seconds, is when a lot of people lost respect for you. I think you are a high-quality poster.

I would like you a lot better if you would dump that avatar.

I think a lot of people lost respect for you when you suggested Trump nominate Merrick Garland as an olive branch. And because people hate you. But I personally love and respect you and enjoy everything you say and do.

That's because they're dumbasses. It only looks like an olive branch. In reality he and the arse grabber almost voted in lockstep. But the stupid bastards didn't read that... they're too knee-jerk.
But we digress. Or as most of these dumbasses here say, regress.
and let's not kid ourselves, no one has any respect for me before or after that keen suggestion.
Wait... Who hates me?

I've never understood how people get divorced after like 40 years.
Maybe they have hopes of getting into a healthy and happy relationship with someone. 60 years old ain’t dead yet

it’s generally accepted that a marriage that lasts six months is trashier than one that lasts 25 years, right?
Probably true. One is a testament to entering marriage uninformed and unprepared and the other is typically a testament to trying to fulfill your duties to your children or a lack of effort to stay in tune with each other.
I was divorced after nearly 10 years though the marriage was effectively over after about 7. That was a combination of the two of us thinking love would carry us through everything without us needing to work to keep things going and getting married way too young.
Been married to my current wife for 27 years and we both entered this with that knowledge. If we had not, I'd be a 2 time loser.
FTR, I'm probably trashy.
