Thanks. I just didn't know what normal price tags were. I could see this price tag making sense with bad teeth and constantly having surgeries, but not for routine cleanups.

do u have nasty snaggle teeth with cavities?

I pay $10 twice per month for family of 7. Covers 2 regular visite per year each person and no deductible. So for me well worth it.

Dental insurance is worth it if someone is paying it for you. If you are paying this yourself, brush/floss as recommended, have a reasonable diet (you don't gargle with Mt. Dew) and don't have a history of tooth decay, then you are paying too much.

You would be better off, taking those dollars and putting them in a savings account dedicated to pay for dental costs. Just don't change your current habits and oral hygiene or don't have a traumatic injury in the first few years of doing it this way
