Is awkward funny?

Do you laugh at awkward situations (aka practical jokes) or cringe? I don’t find awkward funny. Am I alone in this?

I’m an awkward guy, it even translates to my postings on here. People that know me well like wife, kids, coworkers at least pretend to act like I’m funny. When I try to be funny to random strangers it just turns out to be, well, awkward. I’m not even sure I answered your question right and even threw a funny to me joke in there about pretending to act like I’m funny........ like I said, awkward

I guess that’s what I’m saying, people say, Steve Carrell is funny. He isn’t, he is just super awkward and makes noises that don’t make sense. Why do people find it funny?

I like some of his stuff ok, I’m more of a Will Ferrell kinda guy, as far as funny actors to me.

I don't like certain awkward humor. Larry David is the best at it though and I love most things Larry.
