Well at the time I was 21 she was 22 and that was a long damn time ago. Normally I would've been all for it but she was nasty.

A former coworker just posted “Me too!!” As her status. But with one of those super colorful background things for your status....like you would use for someone’s bday. She is like 54 and a classic example of how not to post on fb.
She is my barometer on acceptable fb behavior. If she posts it....I know I should not
And I don’t think all the males in this thread are sexual deviants. I think they just think using fb for this is so cringeworthy. It just screams wanting others to think you are trendy and current on the cause of the day.

Give me a break. I’m female. I was a cocktail waitress in nursing school. Wore heels and a short skirt to work(uniform). Got hit on every shift. Couple times was groped. If customers got too handsy I just called security. And got the frick over it.

As a guy, I don't even understand that type of behavior. Cat calling, slapping asses, grabbing random girls. If that shite seems creepy to me, then I cant imagine how it feels for a girl who couldn't physically protect herself if it came down to it.
I agree, some of these girls go a little overboard with their playing of victim, and a lot of their stories aren't really that traumatizing on a long lasting level, but the fact that a girl getting groped by a stranger is so common that you act like it's nothing is a little sad to me.

No but acting like you are this huge victim deserving of sympathy and fb likes because you were groped at a bar or whatever.....kinda seems like an insult to those who are true victims of sexual abuse imo.

Accepting getting "groped" is a personal decision. Still does not make it right.

I don't either. Class is a dying concept, crudeness is the norm.
Everything's oversexualized. Women should really tone it dow as well if they aren't comfortable with crude behavior

Over 40 women are accusing Weinstein. I believe them all, but after reading all the reports compiled over 3 decades I think it's absurd that only a tiny fraction of them reported him to law enforcement. I do believe they were afraid for their careers.
He could have been stopped and brought to justice decades ago if not for their silence. For years, they knew he was doing it to others.
It IS partially their fault that Weinstein was able to continue being a deviant frick... The women who said nothing all these years could have prevented future assaults. That is like befriending a pedophile or serial killer yet saying nothing, for decades, while knowing they continued their crimes.

I never said I accepted getting groped at work. I just didn’t cry and play the victim over it. I either told that customer off or got security involved if needed.
