Is anyone else offended by the new State Farm commercials

A couple of years ago “Jake from State Farm” was all the rage.. it’s what everyone was talking about and rightfully so.. shite was hilarious. It’s no surprise they roll out some more commercials but completely change the race of Jake... it was really awkward explaining that one to my kid..
Why would they do this? I’ll hang up and listen.

I will say that I've never met a black guy named Jake irl. It's the whitest boy name according to ABC.

It is because of the "she sounds hideous" with the "well she's a guy so..."

How is the world is it awkward to explain to your kid? Why would this even come up with your kid? Sounds like the way you are teaching and raising him is the problem, not the commercial.

Telling him that hollywood producers want him to be ashamed of his race and that they think it’ll make THEM more money to have Jake as and AA is a lot for a 8 yo to handle
