If there are no hang-ups you should be ok. Tons of room for error though. Good luck

I had a 1:35 flight from Frankfurt the other day and I landed at 1 and still made it even going through passport control. But I never check bags. Carry on and a personal.
Got row 40 on a 787 best seat in economy.

As someone who just spent 42 minutes in TSA precheck in ATL, you’re doomed.

I used to do this all the time but absolutely never with checked luggage. It's always a risk though.
Dont think i would do it now with how airlines have been operating lately, but sometimes the savings are tempting.

Probably not. Just due to the sheer size of the airport and volume that Hartsfield takes in on a daily basis.
If you had 2.5 hours, you would be good. Probably even 2. But not an hour and a half.

I had to have three experiences in a row where I insisted to myself that “this is the last time I’m flying Spirit” before I finally stuck to it. I’d rather just pay another $75 bucks and avoid the headache.
To OP, yes it’s enough time if everything runs perfectly. But it would have been worth it to not put yourself in this situation.

Depends on the airport, depends on if you're talking about 1.5 hours before boarding or takeoff, depends on what time of the day. For instance, you probably only need 30 minutes at a small airport, but if it's a huge airport like DFW where you have to take trams and people movers to get to your gate, you might need 2-2.5 hours

For anyone considering flying Spirit, all you have to do is walk by their ticket counter and you'll get the answer. Went to Seattle out of MSY a few weeks back and had to pass Spirit to get to Alaska's counter. It was 5:00 AM and it was a total shite show...people in pajamas and slippers, kids out of control, dumbasses with their luggage open and shite all over the place. I have never flown Spirit, and I guarantee I never will after seeing that. It made the Walmart crowd look sophisticated.

Fo sho. I thought 1.5 hours would be just enough but y’all have me second guessing.
It's 1.5 hours from the minute your plane is scheduled to arrive. So if it arrives at 4:56 do you think you'll be off the plane at 4:57? If you're in the back you just lost 20 minutes (at least) of that 1.5 hours.

Tell your stewardess your problem and she / it will let you get off first. That way you’ll only miss your flight by 15 minutes instead of 25.
