I have a tux. Wear it MAYBE once a year. I'm not buying a tux with tails specifically for MG balls, so I just pay the $125 and rent them

I’m not very sophisticated but I can tell you with probably 100% honesty, if I was at a black tie event and someone wore a black suit, vest, and bow tie, I wouldn’t notice.

It’s unacceptable to show up in boots and ruin the black tie event.

It is acceptable only if you are holstering a .45 under it.
