PSA:

Received a call at the parents house today stating they owed back taxes, etc.

They gave a phone number to call back with a 760 area code. I blocked my #, called back and gave them an earful of F words.

It pissed me off because they are targeting the elderly. My parents are over the age of 85. Those of you with elderly parents, please remind them of the current scams and to never give out any information to these people.

If anyone else gets a call or calls like this, please report these scumbags to The Feds

I'm sure you hurt their feelings and they won't attempt to scam someone else

I am really hoping that it truly was the IRS.

FWIW, these assholes who attempt to rip off the elderly are the scum of the earth.

It wasn't. If the IRS thinks you owe them taxes they send a bill in the mail first. They don't just call.

My feeling on the callers and anyone who makes anything from these calls:

They, and anyone else who takes advantage of the elderly, deserve burning in hell just as much as any drug dealer, thief, etc.
