Iran would be like a modern day version of Japan in the Middle East right now if they had continued with the Shah’s vision imo. Say what you will about the guy but he was enlightened and far ahead of his time. The most accurate critique would probably be he tried to do too much too quickly.

The revolution helped us have Sarah Shahi born in the US and be a native Texan due to her father being on the execution list in 1979. She was looking a little rougher in a more recent picture I saw, but she was gorgeous and probably still is with that picture just being the exception not her norm.
