iPhone Time Issues

On the Florida panhandle. Everybody’s phones resetting to random times. Anybody else having issues?

Instantaneously sometimes shows 1% battery but then goes back to the correct charge amount.
In DC and been in and out of cold weather, that might be contributing to the issue.

What is going on with iphones? 
Seriously, a friend texted me today, because we were talking about how our battery life has been draining a lot faster the past few weeks and he was complaining about another problem he was having, but he texted me today saying he has a new one on the way, that he ordered last night, but his home button broke this morning.
It seems like I hear other people having random problems as well. I will be changing phones in the near future, I am considering going with a Samsung.

Since getting my first smartphone in 2009, I've only had iPhones with the exception of a Samsung Galaxy S3 back in like 2012 or so, which was a complete piece of shite and made me run back to the iPhone.
I've had a ton of issues with my latest iPhone, especially after the latest iOS update, and am seriously considering giving the Galaxy another try. I've also heard great things about the Google Pixel as well, which piques my interest.

I always push off the ios updates for a few weeks until I get a chance to read about the new bullshite to expect from it.
