Ah yes, you still waiting for the evidence of the mystery hit men from the drug cartel?

To say unequivocally that that it's not possible from the evidence that the state presented, that some 3rd party, no matter how unlikely, could have committed the murders, is just untrue. I'm sorry.

Well - that’s what the jurors said.

Thankfully, the standard isn't unequivocally. Only beyond reasonable doubt. I do think the state may have established that thinking some 3rd party committed this is not reasonable.

well, Murdaugh was most likely there a couple of minutes prior to the shooting, so if theres any cartel, he was with them.
Theres no chance he wasn't there.

Imagine Murdaugh in general pop

Beyond a reasonable doubt doesn't mean 100% it happened exactly this way.
You made an absolute statement that wasn't factual.

I imagine someone there has a reason to hate him or his family.

Why do people keep saying this?

It'd be one thing if his dad was still solicitor, but he retired years ago.
It's not like he'll be in the local county jail for life.

Ok. If beyond reasonable doubt doesn’t mean 100% it happened this way…
Then you’re arguing semantics for what purpose?

Yeah, I dont understand anyone thinking he wasn't. You'd have to be in denial.
His voice is on snapchat 5 minutes prior to the murder, and he lied about where he was.

The thing is, nobody believes he wasn’t there.
The argument is just academic.

SIAP: Why did the judge go down that road of it was your split personality monster inside of you hopped up on 60 opioids that may have done this? Why even put that on court record?

Because you keep making inaccurate absolute statements like this in a legal thread:
quote:
The thing is, nobody believes he wasn’t there.

Full disclosure: I’m not a lawyer and I’m not involved in this case.
