Fast from 7pm til 11am. Not snacking at night is harder for me than skipping breakfast, but you get used to it. My first meal of the day will have some carbs, usually in the form of a small serving of oats or rice. I eat every two hours after the first meal and all of those meals are protein and veggies only. I have a cheat meal (not a cheat day) about once every two weeks. Typically either a burger, sushi, LIT pizza .........
Big part is never letting yourself get full. F1 cars are only filled with enough gas to finish the race, bc they run more efficiently with less fuel. The human bodies the same way. We don't need to fill up our tanks 3-4 times a day.

This is an idiotic analogy

He's just saying it's unnecessary to eat the traditional 3-4 full meals daily.. which he's correct.

I eat when I'm hungry, no problems. I do the gym and pickleball, that keeps the weight down.

Which is wrong in and of itself. And his analogy still sucks. An F1 car only uses as much fuel as necessary for the total weight of the car, it has nothing to do with efficiency.
I often eat 1500+ calories in one meal and would wax you nerds in whatever athletic endeavor you’d like

16:8. I just skip breakfast. Saves time in the morning and keeps weight down and allows me to have larger meals. Supposedly induces autophagy and all that goes with that, but that’s not really something I can feel. I generally feel less sluggish having skipped breakfast, though heavy lifts at the gym suffer some.

How so? Because it's not necessary to eat the traditional BLD diet for the human body to operate at an optimum level..

I don't think you understand the analogy and efficiency .. but I do agree there's probably a better analogy that could be used .

Do you use any for pre-workout?

Pre workout is going to do very little if you are underfueled. You’re trying to fit your lifestyle and schedule to everyone. Square peg, round hole.
If I ate like you’re suggesting, I’d fall out with the volume of training I’m doing right now

A cup of black coffee

This term is for people that sniff their own farts.
Skipping breakfast is not "fasting". It's just skipping breakfast.

Gotcha.. I found that having electrolytes in my water helped tremendously on my mornings I'm lifting.. I get these packs from Amazon called LMNT electrolytes, they're sugar free as well..

The regulars on that board are the most bitchy, wannabe know-it-alls around. Its like going to a gym full of teen chads and karens.

Absolutely! I’ve bought that same brand before as well as a low sodium brand. Just haven’t done it consistently. I can’t remember if they helped, they should, but I probably should add it back.

Almost certainly placebo (which is a real thing and can be good)

Usually don't eat between 5:30 pm and 9:30 am.
Sometimes, with coaching requirements I eat dinner later but stick to the 9:30am breakfast schedule pretty regularly.

If you have to list more than one possible board for a topic, it seems like the OT is a good default.
The OT was better when more topics fell here. It was way way better when you didnt have the shmucks policing it like those nerds in school who used to remind the teacher to assign homework.

Depends on when you ate dinner and what you ate/drank after dinner.

This place went to shite when it became filled with posters who just regurgitate social media and clickbait headlines and article.
