They really hate that that the younger folks getting it will help the population immunity while causing a lot less hospitalizations and deaths.

Sounds like 50% of the cases are from those 40 and older. You old farts need to get your shite together.

24% of the population is under 18, yet they only make up 12% of cases

So, the ldh is actually showing kids are less likely to become infected

I meant like normal day to day life. I was at a big box store the other day that has "Masks Required" signs. They would even give you one if you needed it.

Maybe 10% of the customers had them on. No one gave a frick.

Moved on as in everything is back to normal & opened up or moved on as in it doesn’t change your daily routine?

We are stuck on Phase 1.5 with bars shut down, mask mandates that carry a 500.00 fine, 700 businesses receiving violations in the last month for not perfectly following Governors orders & our biggest industries running lean all while getting a biweekly berating from our Governor.

ETA
LINK to KATC story with fine

quote:

Yes, anytime the governor issues an executive order, there is a provision in law that provides a penalty for not adhering to that order,” said Cedars.

He referred to LA RS: 29:724-E, which states that in the event of an emergency declared by the governor, any person or business violating the order can be fined up to $500 or confined in parish jail for up to 6 months.

Everything is normal here. Schools are going to open up with no masks required.

Idk how they can fine people or businesses when “exceptions” are allowed. Local grocery store manager told me the ATC was in recently checking for masks. Said signs are on the door, employees all had them on as did 90% of customers. ATC said they were good and left.

Manager told me they have older customers who have said they will not wear one and the manager told me they’re not about to argue with them.

ETA I read the KATC link but the EO says there are exceptions so idk?
