In 1884, Joseph Mulhatton described leading an expedition through Birmingham’s underground on a river 300 feet wide, in a 150 feet tall cavern, large enough for steamships to travel through.

Dubbed the "Mystic River," he said he saw the remains of ships from previous civilizations, skeletons of sea monsters, and Egyptian-style relics.

The largest channels ever found under Birmingham are actually 20 feet wide and 15 feet high.

Mulhatton is generally regarded as a hoaxer, claiming to have also found the Star of Bethlehem, an invisible Earth moon, and a lost pyramid in a crystal cave somewhere in Kentucky.

Riverside, CA. Birthplace of California's citrus industry. The entire town used to be nothing but orange groves.

There’s this rich family of a bunch of guys that made their fortune selling duck calls and then convincing people to watch a show about it.

Juneau has the most restaurants and coffee shops per capita in the country.

It's also one of the largest cities in America, by area.

My current town is Hemingway's birthplace and hometown. It's also home to Frank Lloyd Wright's home and studio

Bogalusa had a Deacons for Defense chapter in the 60s. In the movie there is actual video from Bogalusa. There was also a stop there in the green book. Lots of cool history regarding the Goodyears and the sawmill.

Similar to Minnesota with their underground ones.

Wish we had that for the heat in the south.

Tacoma was the location of the Narrows Bridge (Galloping Gertie) collapse:

and also the childhood home of Ted Bundy. I think that's about it.

It would be awesome. The craziest part was how clean and safe they are. I don't think that would he the case in Latoya's kingdom unfortunately.

I was born and grew up in Midland Michigan the birth place of DOW chemical... nice town. No bus stations, zero RR tracks(except around the huge Dow plant). Zero major crime and you up to this day let your kids play and go where they want without fear of being taken or killed....
