Did you ever get a refund ? Did you ever get a mailed cancellation ? If you paid any money at all you should have had at least that amount of days in coverage. How long has this been going on?
Yes, got the cancellation yesterday, along with a small check as a "refund"
As I was on the phone with the office manager, I was letting her know I was ripping the refund check up, she said good, and said she was "on it."
And now today, neither her nor her boss will answer the phone.

I haven't read all of the responses but you sound like a psycho.
I'm a "psycho" for paying my insurance company?

You're a psycho for the way that you're acting about this

Yeah, very logical to tip up your return premiums then replace coverage elsewhere 5 minutes later

Really? I'll bet at least 20 people from this thread double down and triple down on their insurance companies from now on because of reading this
It's apparent to me you've only paid car insurance in your entire life, and no other kind of insurance. Go back to your Eminem music and hanging out in the parking lot at Arby's

You're an idiot
I noticed the error when I got a letter in the mail the police was cancelled "for non payment"
No one on the planet it going to risk being uninsured to save a few hundred dollars. I don't know, maybe you would, dumbass.
You seem really smart. You come to a discussion board and broadcast your personal dilemma expecting a reaction/response. Then, when you don't get the response you wanted or expected you resort to personal attacks. Are you an alter for an 8 year old girl?
No you're right and all the people on here that are telling you the same thing are wrong.
Go cry to your boyfriend if that's how you respond to a little criticism asshat.

Every single time something sounds too good to be true and it seems like the company screwed up I question them and make sure I understand. “Ok wait, this seems like a massive discount, I want to make sure everything is correct” I mean this is my homeowners insurance. They’ll either say “yes you actually qualify for this discount” or “oh you’re right, I made a mistake” in which you’ll be required to pay for what you’re buying. This is more your fault.

Unless I misunderstood your first post, you DIDN'T pay for the new policy...or more specifically underpaid for it.

Holy shite you're stupid.

I'm not surprised a business is ignoring your e-mails and/or calls.

Office manager said okay, and charged me way less than the full annual premium divided by four. Okay, I thought, and paid it.
No, I got it right...hence the problem you caused for yourself.
On a scale of financial mistakes, this was probably one of the biggest ones (potentially) you will ever make.
