Increasing her pay by 75% before the tax even goes into effect.
These people will be asking for more money by next year. Hell, the NBR Economic Redevelopment board is already asking for more money and they've only been active for 6 months and close to running in the red just on salaries.

Those monogrammed emergency shirts will likely have the same

Didn't TCA already start hinting that she needs a pay raise?
1. Get huge increase in budget through tax by saying it's to help old people
2. Immediately get yourself a pay raise
3. While making 80% more money, hire someone to actually do your job for you
4. Whatever work you don't feel like doing, outsource it
5. Profit

Clark-Amar's annual salary is $101,238, but the presentation showed the national midrange salary for someone in her position is $180,198. Gilmore said the national numbers may have been skewed, as they appeared to be from the private sector and were higher than he expected. Clark-Amar also hopes to hire a chief administrative officer to help run the Council on Aging, and said her chief operations officer is overextended. The CAO would be another executive level position at a high pay level. Board members also pondered whether it was worth outsourcing some of the work the Council on Aging does. Clark-Amar proposed beefing up the two-person accounting staff with three additional employees.

Lol. To anyone with half a brain, the COA functions solely to line the pockets of those who work there.

The grandmother obviously thought her grandchildren were crackheads and didn't want them to have access of her cash.

Davis said she would set up a trust for her daughter with the minor's share of Plummer's estate. But Davis said she cannot do so — nor can the settlement reached for Plummer's estate be approved — until Clark signs off on the petition for tutorship that was filed six months ago.
quote:
Plummer's granddaughter, Tracie Davis, said after the conference that she wants someone in her family to oversee the estate. She said she was concerned an independent attorney would also charge a fee for overseeing it, affecting the amount of money available for the beneficiaries, including Davis' daughter. She also was perturbed by Prokop's comment that it was Amar who recommended Kadair, as Davis said she does not trust Amar's recommendations.
"Why not me?" Davis said. "I don't understand why they keep trying to appoint someone outside the family."
