Y’all are wasting your time

OP didn’t do anything all day, sat around and played on his phone, took a few cat naps, complained that he couldn’t sleep at night, then self diagnosed himself with insomnia?! Is that how it works these days?

Exhibit self destructive behavior then claim illness when shite don’t work out for you… makes total sense

This is probably more correct than anyone here will want to admit

For you and anyone having a hard time FALLING asleep, concentrate only on your breathing.

Yeah -- probably does work that way these days. To be a bit more fair, who doesn't have some insomnia these days dealing with what's going on?

Dunno about "illness" (which may or may not be legit), but times and "news" are fricked up enough.

Has anybody dispensed the advice to ignore "The News"? (and "Politics" at this forum? )

Turn the TV to a documentary on space exploration or nature. Those put me to sleep with ease every evening.

One technique that works well for me is to replicate REM sleep. Get in your sleeping position and relax. Close your eyes, then roll them around clockwise and counter-clockwise about 10 time each. Keep eyes closed and move them up and down for as long as you can. You'll yawn your tail off and have a flood of natural melatonin. Try it... you'll start yawning at your desks.

20 mg melatonin? Be prepared for some wild dreams. Some good, some not so good. I sometimes do this for entertainment value.

Sounds weird, but the best thing that works for me is doing crossword puzzles in bed. At night my brain does not enjoy mental challenges. I would fall asleep after five minutes. Give it a try and see if it works for you.
