Yep love the navigator, but I put my foot down on spending over 85k for a vehicle as my wife is too hard on them and drives too much. We went when closest thing when platinum expedition.
As day as qx80, we averaged 14 mpg over 5 years but it was driven mostly City. We had no problems other then it eats batteries and wife kept insisting something was wrong because battery would go out every 12 months. Went thru 4 batteries in all. It's mainly the way the charging system on it weekend and the big draw on it from theatre system etc. I would but again in a heartbeat.
Also it towed good. Besides the battery issue, the only other thing I disliked was when you got on the gas from a stop it pulled weird. I think this was due to size and the awd.

I’m getting ready to trade my wife’s car in. Looking at Toyota Highlander or minivan. I refuse to buy her nice vehicles. My parents bought her a Lexus GSF 2 years ago and it’s in bad shape. Wheels are scraped, exterior is scraped, and interior is scraped. Waste of money

If you like it, buy it.
Personally I do not care for Infiniti or Nissan products... GTR included.

Infiniti’s are driven by queers, women only, all of them are out dated on the inside.

Don’t know about the current model, but previous QX80’s were known for poor reliability. Add to that the dated tech...much better SUV’s available in that segment.

is it queer if you got it from your mother in law?
asking for a friend...

We test drove the Navigator, Lexus LX, and the QX80. Settled on the QX80 for my wife and kids. The other two were nicer but I had a hard time dropping close to $90k for a vehicle.

We have a Highlander Limited right now. Highly recommended

horrendous, they have a shite camera for backing up as well.
Recently made the switch to a Jeep Grand Cherokee, amazing interface.

They updated the exterior and it looks very nice in the lighter colors.
You are right though. The interior needs some work as does the engine. That’s a big turn off.
I’d probably get a Yukon Denali instead. You may be able to convince me to try a Range Rover with an extended warranty too.

I actually drove one last year.
That infotainment system feels 10 years old.

It drives like a boat. There is a reason it has 4 cameras on it for parking.

I’ve had the predecessor QX 56 and the QX 80. Maybe the nicest SUV you will ever drive. Smooth, quiet, great acceleration for size,
planety of room. Awesome SUV

Then you cannot drive. Very easy SUV to drive for it’s size. Much easier than my lifted FX4
