I haven't had to wear a suit in 2 years. Since I had mine tailored I have lost 30 lbs (got off the juice). I brought them back to the tailor and he tweaked them a bit but now they look like I borrowed a suit from my dad since I lost so much meat off of my shoulders and back.

I keep seeing/hearing ads for the indochino tailored suits for 350 bucks. I have to go to a wedding with the gf in april and I don't want to under dress. Anybody have good luck with these?

Just wear your plant operator Nomex with your name on it. Garners more respect than some cheap arse suit

I have a closet full of them. Of course the key is to get your measurements correct, and although they make it sound easy it isn't really. Order one suit. They'll ship it to you, then have it adjusted. Make sure you work with the tailor to record the adjustments that were made. Then you should be set.

I suggest getting a basic navy and a basic charcoal gray suit, with 3-4 pants each, for everyday wear. You'll go through the pants much faster than you will the jacket. If you like, also get a premium suit.

My mom is real big in to sewing shite so I plan on having her help take all the measurements.

I was planning on a basic charcoal suit for starters. I don't wear them for work and most of my friends are already hitched so I rarely wear them anymore. For now I just want one that is multipurpose. Thanks!
