I think Centinel’s right. And I don’t think it’s a political thing either. I think it has everything to do with the culture of safety that the country has adopted. “Out of an abundance of caution...” there is no consideration of risk/reward. Half of Houston shut down one day a couple of years ago with sunny skies and temps in the mid 30s.
Masks are a low hanging fruit. It won’t be a government thing. It will be a business thing, especially big corporations who are already beaten over the head with safety requirements every day. You want to eat, shop, be entertained, you’ll have to do it with a mask.
Trust me I hate it. But I think it’s here for a long time.
