I dont think it's that cut and dry or so simple. I'm not saying you're wrong, I just dont think its easy to say one way or the other.
Overpopulation is a result of it that I think of. Pollution is a result of it. I'm no expert and not the Unabomber, but I think you could make a reasonable case that would argue against technology.

At what point do you sacrifice quality/longevity of life to combat overpopulation and pollution is, I guess, the question
