Similarly, the entire continent of Africa is lumped under a single sub-heading, which also includes people from Cuba, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
DDC has faced similar criticism fire for the uneven way it classifies different languages.

We could just update the categories.
The system has a classification for "Internet, World Wide Web". I'm not a Dewey Decimal System historian, but I'd wager Dewey didn't have that classification in 1876.
