That’s cute…resorting to ad hominem attacks when you don’t have a valid retort.

There are other Catholic girl schools that offer a equal or better education at half the tuition.

It's frustrating that I can present this information to my wife, and she still doesn't understand why I am so much against sending our daughter to SH

my valid retort was the first sentence of my reply, that you willfully ignored.

I must’ve struck a nerve

I would do Cathedral or Pius. all are good schools though.

We applied and got into both Pius and Cathedral. I was not a fan of Pius' admissions process.

when it comes to Catholic school in NOLA - it’s either you go where your mom/dad went, or your mom/dad hated where they went so you have to go somewhere else

Or where your mom/dad went is now closed so you get sent to a school with a similar crowd.

so where do YOU want to send your child?

Where is the child now? (Not a specific school - is she at ASH or another Catholic school or a public school?)

If you want a pink haired liberal, sure. Academically, it is the best school in that area, though.

Spending $10-20k a year for 12 years just for your kid to end up at LSU doesn’t seem like the best use of one’s resources.

If you think those other Catholic schools are in the same league at SH, I’m not sure what to tell you

She's in daycare right now at a local catholic grade school

I want her to go to either St Pius or St Catherine

Oh wow, you must have a daughter who goes or went to Sacred Heart

I'm not going to argue with someone when I know that I'm correct based on facts

Have a great Wednesday

Parents are trying to get principal fired

ETA: parents aren’t happy with principal but priest/diocese is so she’s still there. Lots of students transferring at the end of year
