Mainstream behavior. I am sitting at the bar of a restaurant in Savannah, GA right now reading this thread. A guy in his 20's is sitting two seats down. He is on the phone loudly dropping N bombs, cursing profusely and bemoaning the fate of one of his buddies who is on drugs and he expects will get shot soon. In between calls, he is listening to rap videos on his phone speakers. The public behavior is over the top whether he is listening to rap or if he was an oilfield Baw listening to country.
I have zero doubt that if I said a thing I would quickly become the "racist" here. So I am going to let it go since I am on my employers dime and need to respect that.

This is not mental illness. A lot of these people are idiots who are trying to sound smart. They're morons trying to sound like what they imagine some deep, tormented artist type would sound like. It comes out as this stuff because they're not smart enough to pull it off.

Not very long ago at all, I thought UVA was the most beautiful large college campus I'd ever seen, and Charlottesville was a college town par excellence, with very few peers. Frankly, right now, it wouldn't bother me if Antifa and BLM came in and finished the job they started a couple of years ago and just burn the whole shootin' match down.
