The comparison is made to piggy back off the suffering of blacks to try to get an easy pass for what amounts to a choice at the end of the day. It’s maddening.

That's not even a concept, it's dumb.
The concept of evolution is the mutations and traits that are advantageous to the survival of a species will get passed on. On the other hand, traits that are disadvantageous will be a dead end.
So, if our specie's survival depended on color coordination and fabulous finger snaps... then your argument may be valid.
