I’m sure she felt the immense love you have for her every day of her life. We don’t deserve them, that’s for sure

She was beautiful and loyal. She’s at Rainbow Bridge with all her friends and cousins who have gone before her. She doesn’t want you to be sad but damn it’s hard not to be. Y’all had 15 great years together and she was loved and well taken care of. I’ve had to put two chocolate labs down in my time. Prayers and condolences are with you, baw.

Much easier to kill a bad person than a good dog. Sorry for your loss.

Im very sorry. I still get home and think "shite I forgot to put the trash can in the pantry"
Even though my dog has been gone for a year and a half.

this is for the downvoters

When he had to be put down I cried like a baby.

The only time i cried like a baby was when i had both my old dogs put down at the vet about 4 years apart. It hurts knowing this will be their last breath but knowing their pain is over is also a relief. They asked if i wanted to be in the room? what man wouldnt be there for them when they gave you everything for their whole life?

Feel your pain, BP. Time will help, and eventually a new best friend will work his/her way into your heart.

15 years is one helluva life for a dog, though. RIP Slai.

Put our Golden down just over a year ago. 14 years old. She could barley get up on her own. Was with her at the end. Hardest thing I’ve ever done.
