Oh I got it right off. You were being facetious and playful. To which responded in kind with what was surely a decent or a notch above decent effort with some playful facetiousness of my own with the blatantly ironic (and intentional of course) misspelling of “your” (you’re) as well as “moran” (moron).

Yeah I use my words. I just can’t help myself. But what’s the worst of all is my post edit rate…..99.7%. I mean let’s just call it 100. Edit the post, edit the edit, and on and on. Honestly I think it’s demonstrative of our highly functioning brains, and oftentimes even TOO highly functioning. That previous comment there, just so everyone knows, only 50% lol on that. Which means it’s also half true.

***and I do have an affinity for “facetious”…..it’s not quite as abrasive sounding as “sarcastic” but smarter sounding than “messing around” or God forbid “goofing off”.

I have a soft rule, where, except in certain threads where I want to strangle people through my Samsung, I drop a comment, and I really try not to come back for at least 15m. I fail spectacularly on the regular.

Outta nowhere, but Metallica in Warsaw, 2024. Glove thrown. A guy from 11th ACR is coming with me so far.

I wouldn’t doubt that for a second. I’m usually a bit taken aback when ages become involved in a thread. Surprised at the higher ages (relatively speaking of course) than I would’ve ever guessed. I figured most common age range of regular posters was ~40 to 45ish. Then I note the unexpected abundance of 60somethings. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Nothing at all. But it is the primary reason why I refrain from fighting and mad dogging and knuckle checking on this website. It’s too likely to be with a person who I’d consider my elder.

I strongly observe the Respect of Elders rule, and there is no lol on that particular point, for me.
