That's what the doctor said. Said the vast majority don't have side effects, maybe some weird dreams, maybe not.
I had weird dreams trying cold turkey and with Chantix. My recurring Chantix dream was searching for lost underwear. That, and working on my grandma's car even though she doesn't drive anymore. Its not nightmares, just weird and vivid dreams.

Just start dipping. It tastes and smells better.

I was on Chantix twice. You are supposed to set a quit date a week after you start taking it, but both times I quit before the week was up. I had no other side effects except the dreams. I didn't have any nightmares either, just weird stuff. My dreams have always been about a person, place or thing I know, but on Chantix it was just crazy, unexplainable stuff. Not disturbing but I would wake up and wonder WTF they were about. I had no desire at all to smoke while I took the med. I took it for 4 months each time and within a month after I stopped taking it, I had the cravings again and started back. I wish it was a long term medication, but it's not. Smoking is the only addiction I have and it's a strong one for sure! I've done many other things that people with addictive personalities do and get hooked on, but none ever effected me like smoking has. Good luck! I mean that.
