You’d swear America was 50% black instead of 10% just by going off of commercials. And Hispanics are closer to 50% and yet I hardly see any of them.

Unfortunately the adage of "wait till they get into the real world" is no longer true. Corporations hire these young noodle boys/girls whose entire personas are wrapped around manufactured social justice causes and everything they do and discuss drips with an obsession over diversity, oppression, and the problematic. They feel a religious fervor to shoehorn their social justice fetish into every aspect of their jobs and companies knowingly fear pushing back as these kids will congeal together and cause a lot of headaches for the company (See the accusations that Google isn't woke enough).

There does seem to be a large number of black women married to white guys that like to go off roading with their one white son and black daughter. Who knew

There's actually a legitimate business reason why black people and LGBTQ are overrepresented in media. They statistically focus their hobbies towards pop culture than other groups. I was reading an article the other day that the average black person spends about 4-5 more hours a week in front of the TV than the average white person in America.
