Everything that you do on the internet is recorded. The places where people go to download the pornography is often monitored, and law enforcement searches for the new online hiding spots.

I think that it might just be that a lot of child porn is hidden on the deep web. It makes sense that's where these people would try to hide it.

I learned the other day that they have dogs trained to sniff out flash drives and hard drives in these pervs hiding places around their house, article says one helped bring down Fogle:
