Don’t let that Addiction Network guy touch you. He wears scrubs and a stethoscope, but I don’t think he’s a real doctor.

It seems Pinnacle is the new goto drink of course right before folks go to rehab now.

Good luck!

There are a LOT of us around that don’t drink anymore. Hopefully you can come aboard this badass train. Life is 1000x more fun without booze.

This wasn’t funny the first time this was said. It’s not funny the nine millionth time it was said. Just fricking ignorance from anyone who makes this joke.

Alcohol is a powerful demon

It's insidious and not only socially acceptable, but it's almost a stigma if you don't drink. I've abstained for most of the past 2 years and when I start drinking again, I pretty quickly realize how it sneaks up on me. Nothing crazy these days, but steadily increasing volume and frequency, leading to poor sleep and extra empty calories, anxiety and subpar athletic and mental performance. It just isn't worth it. I'm going back to teetotaling after a couple months of creeping up, for no real reason.

Good luck to OP. It'll be well worth it.

What’s the theory? That most alcoholics drink vodka? If so, I concur.

I'm curious.. what is rehab like? What goes on in there? Are you advised not to talk about your experience there once you leave?

Kidding. I was at the PaRC in Houston back in 2016. Saved my life.

Quite the opposite. There are so many options and variaties of rehabs.

Stories are aplenty.
